Going to a dermatologist can be costly and time consuming when you can just as easily do a light chemical peel at home. Use fresh pineapple or lemon flesh for its light acid content and simply rub a slice of fruit over your face spreading the juice evenly. Leave for a few minutes or until the juice starts to dry and wash it off. The acid buffs and lifts the first layer of dead skin improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and mild acne scarring. The vitamin C content helps with things like broken capillaries, also known as rosacea. This method can sting a little, its up to you when you wash it off and if you do a second round. Repeat every 2-3 weeks.
